J. Boyd Page

Biography

During his lifetime, the late J. Boyd Page, Page Perry & Associates, LLC founder, was recognized as one of the nation’s foremost investor rights attorneys and advocates.  In recognition of his leadership, professional excellence and dedication to the rights of investors, this law firm is proud to continue the use of his name.

During his 40-year career he handled some of the largest investment fraud cases filed in U.S. courts and arbitration forums.  He represented injured investors from nearly every state in the country.  He worked on behalf of thousands of securities abuse victims and assisted them in recovering more than $750 million.  On more than 45 separate occasions, he helped investors recover more than $1 million.

As a trial attorney, Page practiced primarily in the area of investment disputes.  In the securities area, he represented investors against brokerage firms, issuers of securities and other investment entities.  Page was a major participant in numerous actions, including those against Prudential Securities, Marriott, D.H. Blair, UBS, Citigroup, Charles Schwab, Morgan Keegan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, PNC and SunTrust Securities.

Page earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from UVA’s School of Law in 1973.  He was a founder and past president of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.  He served as co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Securities Arbitration Subcommittee.  He received the “Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award” from the Georgia Secretary of State.
